Traditionally few combined consonants have separate symbol. Probably a little shorter version helpful while writing manually.

In computer fonts it is not possible to write them. So refer below image.

You can write all these symbols with the rules/styles discussed in previous sections.  i.e.

क + त = क्त
द + य = द्य
द + म = द्म
द + ध = द्ध
द + व = द्व

त + न = त्न
द + द = द्द
न + न = न्न
त + त = त्त
ट + ट = ट्ट
ठ + ठ = ठ्ठ
ड + ड = ड्ड
ढ + ढ = ढ्ढ
ल + ल = ल्ल

ट + य = ट्य
ठ + य = ठ्य
ड+ य = ड्य
ढ + य = ढ्य

But you may find these special symbols in newspapers or other written materials. So just keep them in mind.

  2. Hi Kaushik,
I am indebted to you. I am learning from a teacher who uses google hangout to teach me, but does not explain it like you do. She expects me to learn from practice. I use your blog to understand the 'why' behind the sentence formation in Marathi
